Jakarta (ANTARA) – Citra Pratama, tim sepak bola asal Bogor di Jawa Barat, menjarai turnamen seri nasional RRI Cup U-16 2025 setelah mengalahkan Jatim FC dari Malang, dalam partai pamungkas yang berakhir 2-0.

Dalam keterangan panitia penyelenggara RRI Cup U-16 2025 di Jakarta, Kamis, seri nasional tersebut diikuti 9 tim yaitu SONS Sumsel, MK Lampung, Ocean Stars Banten, Remci FC Banten, PSF Academy Jakarta, Diklat ISA Bogor, Citra Pratama Bogor, Jatim FC Malang, dan Taruna Paser Kaltim.

Setelah dua hari turnamen pada 2-3 September di Lapangan Pancoran Soccer Field (PSF), Jakarta, Citra Pratama dinobatkan jara setelah memenangkan laga sengit melawan FC Jatim.

Direktur Utama Lembaga Penyiaran Publik Radio Republik Indonesia (LPP RRI) I Hendrasmo mengapresiasi semua peserta, termasuk tim-tim tingkat provinsi dalam babak penyisian akhir Agustus lalu.

Dia menyebut turnamen it berlangsung lancar dan memperkuat pesan bagi masyarakat bahwa sepak bola adalah sarana mempererat persaudaraan dan membangkitkan semangat positif generasi muda.

"RRI Cup pada tahun ketiga ini menjadi ruang untuk memperkuat solidaritas, sportivitas, optimisme, dan tentunya partisipasi kami untuk ikut dalam pembinaan pemain usia muda," katanya.

Ini adalah edisi ketig setelah 2023 dan 2024 serta menjadi bagian dari perayaan HUT RRI, yang tahun ini berusia 80 tahun.

Inisiator RRI Cup yang juga Anggota Dewan Pengawas LPP RRI, Mohamad Kusnaeni, berharap tim yang berpartisipasi terus mengembangkan kemampuan karena peluang para pemain muda untuk tampil di tingkat nasional sangatlah besar.

Dia menyebut turnamen ini bagian dari ekosistem pembinaan pemain sepak bola usia muda di Indonsia karena diikuti talenta-talenta daerah.

Kusnaeni lalu meminta penyelenggara menyertakan coaching clinic pada edisi tahun depan.
